For all the Falcon and Hislop haters let us get this clear. That Falcon is NOT a V8 Supercar. The motor is NOT a V8 Supercar motor. Read the rules. Read them again. And then read them a third time. Maybe then you will understand if your not a hater. Probably not but if you have an I.Q. Above a wombat it will make sense. The Falcon is a better platform. A better motor. Better brakes and suspension. Better team and preparation. Remember this. A car does not know what name is on the Valve cover. It is still up to team preparation, race execution and driver. There was an individual who prepared and drove Honda Civic to a 4th place finish at Bathurst. Think about that. A Civic finished 4th behind V8 cars at Bathurst. A freaking Civic!!!!!!! A nose heavy pig of an economy car. So there is hope for the other cars. Civic’s, 86’s RX7’s, Nissan’s and the rest are not as good as the Falcon. It is not personal. Do take it that way.
